New Year Targets & Stretch Target

Starting the countdown to 2012? I've yet to start the new year's countdown. No big events planned and so I'll spent the rest of the new years alone, sitting in front of my lappy and nag. As usual, as the new year come, come the new hopes as well. And this year, I can say that all my hopes is partly fulfilled. Not that I've particular wishes or what not~ My target is always bout the long-run thing. I didn't really have a short-term one. Anyway, for the next year's big events, I'd manage to come out with short list. Simple list, everyone would want it. Yet, hard to get- for sure!

The Vice Chancellor Award!

A target I definitely want to achieve after all the hard work, hardships that go through these three years. It's normal to expect something rewarding as this award so I can finally say, "Look, this is what I earn after all those years. It's satisfying!" Main reason to achieve: fulfill my mom's, dad's, friends, etc. dreams (actually...) They're always so confident bout this. Yet all I can say is, "Let see how it goes~" My favorite quote.

To collect as much money as possible. So that I can be a millionaire? Nope! Not for the 2012's target. For the coming 10 years? -Yes, perhaps! Next year, I'm gonna buy lot of thing in my shopping list. To shop. To travel. To take a license. To start a makeover. So many 'to'... And consequently, comes the next target;

Find a job, get it, and get paid.

Where would the money come without work? From my mom. Not enough. For my level, a clerk would do. IF and ONLY IF I'm determine and courage enough to seek the job. Part-time job, not something that I'll look for seriously. Got to push myself harder for this one.

Where to? Not so far away, with the little amount of money in my pocket. Somewhere in Malaysia would be just nice. Paris, London, New York- stretch target. 20 years coming I guess...

Taking Car License

I'm intending to get the license ASAP. Soon after my diploma finish. 1 month challenge. Can I really get it within 1-2 month? We'll see.

Further to Degree in Accounting, UiTM.

UiTM di hatiku. Hopefully I can further my study at the same campus. So that I can always go home by the time it's holiday. The same course, the same U, the same campus, the same lecturer, the same old face.

I guess, that's all for now. I'm being realistic here, not to be too ambitious. So, chiayo! Ganbatte! Banzai!

See you next year!

Filling The Times

Usually when I'm bored, I tend to kill the time by chatting, finding someone to pick up a fight (online)... So, for this holidays, I refrain myself to kill it. Coz everytime I did that, I always end up getting even more furious to myself. Therefore, the best to remedy is to fill the times - simply by reading! - A bookworm after all... All this month I'd spent some times to read, read and read. (Implying how bored I'm actually...)

Here's some of the book that I read, also some online manga that I like. My best read for this month~

Carolina Isle- Jude Deveraux

Exciting story about couple of couples. I'm bit slow at the starting... As the story reach the climax, I start turning pages over pages to know the ending. Good news is I didn't skip any part, I read it all. Usually I skip the boring part and read the ending if I found it boring. Humorous, yet nice!

Currently reading this,

The Snack Thief- Andrea Camilleri

Italian detective story, haven't finish yet. It's a Hercule Poirot type, sounds like fun. So far, no comment. For me, it's a light reading material, should be easy to understand. Mind you, I'm not John Grisham type. I'm more to Agatha Christie...

 Malay Novels, out of many novels that I read this month, I'd choose these;

7 Hari Mencintaiku - Siti Rosmizah
The bestseller's novel, no need to comment more. The best is always is the best. Excellent plot, unique narration, etc... Took me 2 days to finish this thick bunch of papers.

Zahrah de Tigris- Khairyn Othman
Informative read, romantic love story. It's kindda different from the other novel that I used to read. The story itself is like a 3D experience for me. I really feel like living in Baghdad as I read it! Btw, Dr. Patrick Deveraux is sooooo romantic! <3

Other novels:

Anybody Out There- Marian Keyes
Put it into your 'Must Read List'! It's great, believe me. Taught us to be strong. I cry a lot as I read it. Very nice story. Read the blurb, I won't tell the story here. ;p

The Sister Diaries- Karen Quinn
Especially for the one with sisters like me. I like the way the story got twisted and the resolution that comes later. Make me think twice everytime I wanna screw up with my sisters.

Where Would I Be Without You? - Gillaume Musso
From the world's bestseller French writer, again, no need to explain more on the books. The reason why I like it? - Coz I love arts, detective, love story, bit adventure and Paris! And this book has all the blend. Just perfect!

Lastly, lovely romantic manga;

Rakuen- Sakurakouji Kanoko
I cry and cry and cry as I read the first two stories. About the girl turning blind and her loyal, loving boyfriend. About father who loves his daughter heartily~ For the 3rd story, I kindda feel goosebumps. I never like a doll anyway... =.=

O.K... That's all for now. I wish to have more money so that I can buy new novel. As thick as possible!

Season’s Greeting~

It’s a white winter day out there… somewhere at the northern hemisphere- not at Malaysia of course! I’m greeting a happy holiday for everyone out there, especially for me, myself! God, I’m thrilled and desperate to have this holiday for some reasonable reasons. Coz I’m;

  • bored with the studies, i just need a break!
  • running away from annoying people
  • gonna sleep as much as i want
  • craving to get online- unlimited version wanted!
  • starving to have free-served meal... and mom's special cook
  • gonna get back my sim card
  • gonna buy a new phone (coz since that day i'd never have any phone in my hands, i'm sure you know how desperate i feel right now ya~)

And on the top of all, I LOVE holiday! <3<3<3 There, triple heart for holiday.

Cheers everyone, don’t let the snow freeze your smile. Warm your day with hot chocolate drink (for me) and have a holiday blast. (We don’t have snow here in Malaysia, but still the humid and sometimes the cold air of the monsoon season does make me feel cold, chill and freezing)

Mr. Cute Steward, here I come! ;p I’m flying soon!

You and I walk a fragile line
I have known it all this time
But I never thought I'd live to see it break

It's getting dark, and it's all too quiet
And I can't trust anything now
And it's coming over you like it's all a big mistake

Oh, I'm holding my breath
Won't lose you again
Something's made your eyes go cold

Come on, come on, don't leave me like this
I thought I had you figured out
Something's gone terribly wrong
You're all I wanted

Come on, come on, don't leave me like this
I thought I had you figured out
Can't breathe whenever you're gone
Can't turn back now, I'm haunted

Stood there and watched you walk away
From everything we had
But I still mean every word I said to you

He would try to take away my pain
And he just might make me smile
But the whole time I'm wishing he was you instead

Oh, I'm holding my breath
Won't see you again
Something keeps me holding on to nothing

Come on, come on, don't leave me like this
I thought I had you figured out
Something's gone terribly wrong
You're all I wanted

Come on, come on, don't leave me like this
I thought I had you figured out
Can't breathe whenever you're gone
Can't turn back now, I'm haunted

I know, I know
I just know
You're not gone
You can't be gone, no

Come on, come on, don't leave me like this
I thought I had you figured out
Something's gone terribly wrong
Won't finish what you started

Come on, come on, and don’t leave me like this
I thought I had you figured out
Can't breathe whenever you're gone
Can't go back, I'm haunted

You and I walk a fragile line
I have known it all this time
Never ever thought I'd see it break
Never thought I'd see it

Bonjour, it’s a French Month!

It started with the novel that I read last month actually. Sayangku Casper. Most of the scene is at Paris, France. Then it goes all the way up till this day. In the books, in the magazine, in the article, in the fb… and even in my dream!

The Book
Most of the book that I read got some French ‘element’. The language, the style, the city. Makes me wanna learn even more. I like ‘je tai’me, mon amor, mon cher, merci…’

The Movie
Monte Carlo inspires me a lot to do the travelling. I admire Eiffel, I like the Rivera and I like French accent! Then I watched Barbie: Fashion Fairy Tale~ French language is indeed sexy! =D

The Game
I played Jojo World Tour Fashion Show. And of course, in this game, France is not left out. It’s the city of fashion after all~ (bit left out in gaming lately)=.= {I’m a grown-up adult, but still am a playful girl deep in my heart <3 ;-p}

The Dream
Unbelievable and a weird dream. How come my mother, who doesn’t like teaching at all, is teaching English at France? English? Absurd. And of all things, she let me have my own tour while she’s working- how nice! <3 I kindda like the home she’s staying and the scene around.
Therefore, one day, when I’m free and rich enough, I’ll have a luxurious holiday at France.
Dream, dream, dream…

Au Revoir!
